1) Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, booking pages, and rental services. By submitting a booking request, completing checkout, receiving a vehicle, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

2) Definitions

“You,” “Renter,” “Guest”: The person booking and/or operating the vehicle.

“We,” “Us,” “Adventure Rentals”: Adventure Rentals.

“Trip”: The rental period from the scheduled start date/time to the scheduled end date/time.

“Vehicle”: The vehicle you reserve and operate.

3) Eligibility

You must be legally eligible to drive and hold a valid driver’s license. We may require identity verification and may deny rental at our discretion, including for safety, risk, or compliance reasons.

4) Reservations, Payments, and Authorization

4.1 Reservation Confirmation

A reservation is confirmed when checkout is completed and you receive confirmation from Adventure Rentals.

4.2 Payment

Trip charges, taxes, fees, and add-ons are due as shown at checkout.

4.3 Security Deposit / Card on File

A $250 security deposit is required via card on file. You authorize Adventure Rentals to charge the card on file for amounts owed under these Terms, including but not limited to: mileage overages, tolls/violations, fuel/refueling fees, cleaning, smoking fees, late returns, damage, or other incident-related costs.

5) Mileage Policy

Included mileage: 250 miles per day

Overage: $0.15 per mile beyond the included amount
Mileage is calculated based on total trip miles. Odometer readings and trip documentation may be used to validate mileage.

6) Fuel Policy

You must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup. If returned with less fuel, a $40 refueling fee may apply (in addition to the cost of fuel, if applicable).

7) Late Returns

Grace period: 30 minutes

If the vehicle is returned more than 30 minutes late, a $200 late return fee applies.
Late returns may also affect subsequent reservations and can result in additional charges.

8) Cleaning and Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any vehicle. A $150 smoking fee applies if evidence of smoking is found.

Major cleaning incidents (e.g., excessive dirt, stains, spills, odors, pet hair beyond normal, biohazards) may result in a $250 cleaning fee (or more if demonstrated costs exceed this amount).

9) Pickup, Delivery, and Return Locations

9.1 Return to Same Location

The vehicle must be returned to the same pickup location selected for the trip, unless otherwise approved in writing by Adventure Rentals.

9.2 Airport Pickup Parking Fees

If your pickup location is an airport parking facility, you are responsible for any parking fees required to exit the facility during pickup.

Tampa International Airport (TPA):

Economy Parking Garage — 5th Floor, Orange Section, Aisles 8–12. Parking fee is $3/hour paid by the guest on exit.

St. Pete–Clearwater International (PIE):

Strawberry Economy Parking Lot — North end near the shuttle drop-off/pickup point. Parking fee is $3/hour paid by the guest on exit.

9.3 Home Pickup Location

5805 N. 50th St., Tampa, FL 33610 — vehicle will be parked outside the fence in front of the gray building with green trim.

9.4 Delivery

Home delivery is available within 10 miles of Tampa International Airport (TPA) for an additional $50. Delivery details (exact parking location, access instructions) will be provided before the trip start time.

9.5 Drop-off Timing

For contactless pickups, the vehicle may be dropped off 1–3 hours prior to the scheduled trip start time.

10) Contactless Access, Check-In / Check-Out Documentation

We use a contactless pickup process. You agree to complete our check-in and check-out steps (including photo documentation) as instructed. Trip documentation helps protect both you and Adventure Rentals in the event of disputes, damage claims, or insurance incidents.

11) Tolls, Tickets, and Violations

All vehicles are equipped with toll passes (SunPass / E-Pass compatible). You are responsible for tolls, tickets, citations, towing, impound fees, parking violations, and any administrative fees incurred during your trip.

12) Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the vehicle for:

Illegal activities

Racing, reckless driving, or off-road use (unless explicitly permitted)

Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Transporting hazardous materials

Subleasing or allowing unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle

13) Damage, Incidents, and Claims

You must notify Adventure Rentals promptly of any accident, damage, theft, warning lights, or mechanical issues. You may be responsible for costs not covered by insurance, including deductibles, loss of use, towing, and administrative fees, to the extent allowed by law.

14) Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellation and refund policies are disclosed at checkout and/or in your booking confirmation. Failure to appear, failure to complete verification, or failure to pick up within a reasonable timeframe may be treated as a no-show and can result in cancellation and fees.

15) Messaging Terms (SMS)

If you opt in to receive SMS from Adventure Rentals, you may receive booking confirmations, trip reminders, pickup/drop-off instructions, and support updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

SMS consent is not a condition of purchase unless explicitly stated at checkout.

16) Website Use

You agree not to misuse or attempt to disrupt the site or related systems. We may suspend access for suspected abuse or security concerns.

17) Disclaimers

Vehicles are provided “as is” subject to availability and reasonable wear and tear. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the site will be error-free.

18) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adventure Rentals will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to your use of the site or rental service.

19) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

20) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The Effective Date will reflect the latest version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
